My short story “Peas and Carrots” has sold to Realms of Fantasy. More details as they come in. However …
Dept. of Meaningless statistics:
Total sales: Six
Total rejections: Three hundred thirty-eight — or about fifty-six for every one sale.
Also, with this I qualify for membership in SFFWA, which is kind of a milestone. It means, by at least one standard, I am now considered a professional writer.
Dude, that rocks! Congratulations!!
Thanks Jenn! You’re a pal.
Michael,
I read Once Upon a Time at the Learning Annex. I loved it :)
Now, that’s funny! I’m impressed by how much you held back. (When I try to be funny, I’m always over the top.) Your story was filled with hysterical lines delivered tongue-in-cheek. Good stuff. Great stuff!
Uh… we can’t pay, but if you wanna send us something at Gator Springs Gazette… we’d love to hear from you.

Congrats! The great thing about selling stories to Realms is that you get pretty full-color illustrations. Looking forward to the story!
