A Flavor of Quark is now up on Lenox Avenue. I haven’t seen the table of content yet, as I write this Monday night, but they’ve had great stories in every issue I’ve seen. I’m very proud to have something of mine appear in the venue.
I just printed this out. I’m going to read it asap. I have an anatomy test on Sat. so it could take a while, but this is a high priority. I wanted to do a review of it here (a fanish not critish review), but this will probably be a dead topic by this time so I would just post some procedural comment here, I guess.
I just wanted you to know that there is one more person who is closely following your work.
The online fiction thing is growing and growing. I am still trying to decide what to do with my latest (oldest really) baby of a story. I guess I’ll make one more push to get it “published” at one of the nonpay sites (I know that Lennox is not nonpay) first. No rush anymore.
I hope that things are going well w/ the speed writing. I would like to see a draft once it gets good enough for the public.
I have a nit to pick about the following passage:
The ions ran the loop and, as they were meant to, impacted. 10 to the -34 seconds afterward, the quark-gluon plasma formed. At 10 to the -43 seconds after impact, a singularity engulfed the local cosmos.
10**-34 > 10**-43
You’re saying the singularity engulfed the local cosmos before the quark-gluon plasma formed.
