This week Dana Stevens is debating Steven Johnson over issues raised in his book Everything Bad is Good for You. Should be fun — Stevens gave Johnson’s book a bad review. That in itself was curious, because Stevens’ Slate column (which I never miss) is usually extolling the virtuals of (or at least discussing enthusiastically) such markings along the cutural roadside as American Idol, and the never-seen-by-anyone-but-Dana show LAX starring Heather Locklear.
